World of Warcraft, often referred to as WoW, is a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game.

World of Warcraft - Private servers, Guides, Guilds, free servers.

Here you ll find a list of hotfixes that address various issues related to the recently released World of Warcraft Patch 6.2.3.

The Public Test Realm PTR is a special realm used to test patches before they re released to public realms. You can find support for Public Test Realm issues on the PTR forums for each game Diablo III StarCraft II World of Warcraft, which will be available when the PTR is live.

There are two Public Test Realms for World of Warcraft: one for PvE and one for PvP. There is a single PTR for StarCraft II and a single PTR for Diablo III. The PTR is available in English, French, German, and Korean. A post on the applicable game website will announce each round of PTR testing.

Generally, test realms are only available for a variable period of time prior to a patch release. For large content patches, the PTR may stay open for over a month; for smaller patches it may only be open for a week or two.

To participate in the Public Test Realm, first create a PTR license:

Log in to Battle.net Account Management and select the Diablo III game license.

Download the PTR client from your Game Downloads page in Battle.net Account Management.

To play on the PTR, launch the PTR client and log in normally. You will be connected to the PTR server automatically.

For Diablo III, you can copy the heroes from one region of your game license to the PTR:

Create a hero on your PTR license.

Log in to your standard Diablo III license.

Click the PTR Copy banner in the upper right corner to copy your characters.

Log in to Battle.net Account Management and select the StarCraft II game license.

Visit the Character Copy page,

Copy a character over to the PTR realm. This will create your PTR license.

Note: Copied characters and heroes do not share progress with their originals on live servers.

Players who who have had an active game license for at least seven weeks will be able to log in to the PTR. Any additional criteria will be announced with each round of testing.

For World of Warcraft and Diablo III, players are allowed to copy two characters to the test realms for each round of testing. World of Warcraft PvP characters will be copied to the PvP test realm. Role Play and Normal characters will be copied to the PvE test realm. One character may be copied twice, or two different characters may be copied over one time each. Deleting a character from the PTR will not allow you to perform an additional character copy.

Note: If you choose to copy characters from your license in a different region, any previously copied PTR characters will be lost.

You may not be able to log in to the PTR if you have changed your password in the last three weeks. You may try to use an old password, but we cannot guarantee this will work.

Characters, heroes, and all associated items are subject to wipes at any point during testing, and all characters and heroes will be wiped on completion of the testing phase.

Customer Support is unable to assist with the test realms, but we do have PTR Forums, which are a great resource for discussion:
